BarCampNYC - Good Stuff
BarCamp NYC was quite an event last weekend. All 100+ attendees presented something they were working on or contributed to someone else's presentation. Very participatory, very adhoc, spontaneous, and best of all full of insights, ideas, and new friends.
I saw a presentation on Glypho a collaborative writing, and creativity site by Ambika Sukia, talked with Morgan Friedman head of Diseno Porteno and the brains behind Overheard in NY. Also talked to Danny Wen behind SuperGlu and Iridesco. Also saw Wendy Seltzer present on MythTV.
Thanks go out to Amit Gupta and Mike Goelzer for throwing such a great event!
